Life gets in the way of living...

Sometimes I want to write to you,
but the words get in the way of writing.

Sometimes I want to talk to you,
but the sentences get in the way of saying.

Sometimes I want to hug you,
but the hands get in the way of hugging.

Sometimes I want to touch you,
but the fingers get in the way of touching.

Sometimes I think about you,
but the thoughts get in the way of thinking.

Sometimes I want to love you,
but the love gets in the way of loving.

Sometimes I want to learn from you,
but the things already learnt get in the way of learning.

I don't know why it is so Mum and Daddy,
when we got drifted apart,
I guess life came in the way of living!

the views on the your quarter century age 25 are commendable and yes it's true, that we do start planning a lot, without realising that the best days would be when we stop planning and do something. It is not always IIT for everyone, but then there is nothing wrong in following what you always wanted to do. All your teenage life, you struggle to be what other's want you to be, and you keep your wishes aside, waiting for the time when you will be free from the parental pressure to do well. When you finally bag a job at a MNC, it is back to square one. Now you are going to work for someone or something which you really do hate. The flashes of what you really wanted to do are just things of past.. waiting to be revived again....

@Ruckus John- Thanks a lot. :) We all are in it together. Twenties is the best of the age that can be and worst of all too..But it all depends on us at the end of the day. May we get the force to take the leap of faith, to live life as we want to.
@StoryTeller- Thanks for coming again and appreciating :)

It is not just the twenties, the 10s,30s, 40s.. all are wonderful times for an individual. It is how we approach it. The 40s have become the new 30s. It may be amusing for you to know, that the this post came from a person who has been living the monotonous life for some time now. The zeal to do something has just withered away. Yeah and i am waiting for my leap of faith too. Oh, i did splurge 8k on a wrist watch, so kinda feels good right now :P

That's an awesome thing to hear ;) (splurging on things you like) and like i said, we shouldn't wait for life to start, we should start our lives..again i know it is easier said than done. All the best to us. :)

Life in the time of Corona - Corona Series (Part 1)

Turned off the TV, a little disturbed, after watching "Nosedive", an episode in Black Mirror.  What if this becomes a way of real...
